This is my country ANGOLA

Angola, officially the Republic of Angola, is a country in south-central Africa bordered by Namibia on the south, the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the north, and Zambia on the east; its west coast is on the Atlantic Ocean with Luanda as its capital city. The exclave province of Cabinda has a border with the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Angola was a Portuguese colony from the 16th century to 1975. After independence, Angola was the scene of an intense civil war from 1975 to 2002. The country has vast mineral and petroleum reserves; however, its life expectancy and infant mortality rates are both among the worst-ranked in the world.

NACIONAL BANK OF ANGOLA

Neverthless the people has not acess at the electricity  is due to Inadequate policies and regulations, rather than a lack of funding, is the main reason for Africa’s failure to exploit its huge renewable energy potential, according to Adnan Amin, director-general of the International Renewable Energy Agency.

also  we can reflect under the comments of  Achim Steiner, UNEP’s executive director, said: “We have seen revolutionary technologies such as mobile phone money transfer coming of Africa; we believe that, if the energy potential on the continent is fully exploited, more revolutionary innovations will come out of the continent”.

Connie Hedegaard, the European Union commissioner for climate action, said that countries must strive to make sustainable energy a reality at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) in June.
“Sustainable energy must be made one of the deliverable realities in the Rio+20 negotiations, or we will risk making this whole 20-year process from Rio, Durban and Nairobi a mere talking shop,” she said.

Sustainable development bases

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

It contains within it two key concepts:

The concept of needs, in particular the essential needs of the world's poor, to which overriding priority should be given; and the idea of limitations imposed by the state of technology and social organization on the environment's ability to meet present and future needs.

Energy efficiency and renewable energy are said to be the twin pillars of sustainable energy. Some ways in which sustainable energy has been defined are:

  • "Effectively, the provision of energy such that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. ...Sustainable Energy has two key components: renewable energy and energy efficiency." – Renewable Energy and Efficiency Partnership .
  • "Dynamic harmony between equitable availability of energy-intensive goods and services to all people and the preservation of the earth for future generations." And, "the solution will lie in finding sustainable energy sources and more efficient means of converting and utilizing energy." – Sustainable energy by J. W. Tester, et al., from MIT Press.
  • "Any energy generation, efficiency & conservation source where: Resources are available to enable massive scaling to become a significant portion of energy generation, long term, preferably 100 years.." –Invest, a green technology non-profit organization.
  • "Energy which is replenishable within a human lifetime and causes no long-term damage to the environment."

Also among all development regions   , AFRICA among all developing regions is undoubtedtly the continent's electricity needs are most urgent. I live on this moment   without electricity and this situation is qualified normal .

On our continent 65 % have not access to the energy wich is neverthless a essential matter to the next goals....
